Jordan finishes as Runner-up at the Mansfield 2020 Young Apprentice award Night

Congratulations to Jordan Tilley as he came 2nd at the Mansfield 2020 Young Apprentice Awards Ceremony last week. Jordan was nominated by County Battery Services Managing Director Richard Fuller for the award. Jordan Apprentice of the Year Finalist 1

It’s a proud moment for both Jordan and County Battery Services as the former has come a long way from the time he started as an apprentice with the company. Richard said in Jordan’s award nomination: “County Battery Services have only one apprentice at this time but it is felt by all the County Battery Services Team that Jordan Tilley’s personal growth is a shining example to all young people.”

Jordan has developed by leaps and bounds during his time at County Battery as part of the warehouse department, taking responsibility of his duties and initiative in staff meetings. Richard further added, “You may say that County Battery Service are very community minded, this may be the case however it is a commercially run business and there is no room for passengers, as the warehouse manager at the time said “I can’t carry him” Jordan against all odds earned the position in the company and as his skills grow he becomes more and more confident.”

The Mansfield 2020 Awards Ceremony took place on Friday 28th April and the County Battery Services staff members were there to support Jordan on the night. Well done Jordan, we all are proud of you!!
