Beware of fake batteries!
Here at County Battery, theres always batteries coming in and out. We receive a lot of batteries from people that want us to recycle/refurbish them. We usually get plenty of working batteries in and plenty of broken batteries, but it's very rare that we receive a fake battery. Recently, Richard took in a battery from a jump pack that was brought in to us. As soon as he felt it he knew something was off, it was far too light to be full of acid. So, armed with a hammer and chisel (and safety glasses of course) he cracked it open for a closer look...
So there you have it, not everything is always as it seems, even batteries.
