Do you have a faulty product(s)?
If the product(s) is a battery you should firstly check a few things-
Have you tried charging the battery(s)?
Is the battery(s) topped up with electrolyte?
Is the charger working correctly?
If the answer is yes to all of the above then we'll need to get the battery(s) back for warranty testing as per below.
The customer will be responsible for the return cost of the product(s) for a warranty test, our standard charge for collection of a battery is £15 unless it is within a reasonable distance for us to collect.
We will send you out the appropriate packaging and packing instructions and organise a day for a courier to collect the battery(s).
If you choose to return the product(s) yourself, it is advisable to use a traceable service.
If the product(s) is/are found to be faulty and a warranty replacement is granted the customer will be reimbursed any carriage costs as a result of returning the product(s) once proof of costs are received.
Customers receiving a replacement product(s) will not be responsible for the delivery cost. Please be aware the warranty is between County Battery Services Ltd and the purchasing customer.
Warranties are non-transferable and will become void if product(s) are sold to another party during the warranty period.
If a product(s) returned are batteries and are found to be flat or discharged we will first charge the battery(s). Please allow 48 hours after we receive the battery for this dependent upon the specific battery.
The time it takes for products to be tested may vary depending on product specifications.
If there is no fault/failure, on the product(s) due to poor workmanship or manufacture, the Customer will be responsible for any carriage charges incurred and the goods will be returned.
Please Be Advised That Our Warranty Does Not Cover:
- Flat batteries that can be recharged to an acceptable level.
• Cost for recharging or use of rental products or vehicles.
• Labour costs for products removal and installation.
• Damage as a result of charging system failure, negligence, accident or incorrect installation.
• Loss of time, loss of vehicle use or other incidental or consequential damages.
• Failures which occur outside the UK.
- Returning a product for any other reason?
If returning a product(s) as a result of customer error, for example ordering the wrong item(s) you have 14 days in which to notify County Battery Services Ltd. The customer will be liable for the cost of this return and any original delivery cost incurred to County Battery Services Ltd. A restocking fee of 15% will be applied after this time. A refund of the item(s) price will be given within 14 days from receipt of the item(s) and upon confirmation it is in its original full working condition.
If returning a product due to County Battery Services Ltd error the customer will not be liable for the cost of the return. Once it is received the original cost of purchase will be refunded to the customer within 14 days.
Please be advised we will not accept any unauthorised returns, you MUST contact us prior to returning any item(s). Any unauthorised returns will not be refunded. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call on 01623 757377 on the first instance you suspect you have a return.
