County Battery Warranty information.

In the event of a battery claim, the battery should be returned as soon as you realise you have a problem, with proof of purchase. Should the battery tests confirm a fault, then the battery will be exchanged free of charge.

  • County Battery has the right to test and if necessary, charge the battery before agreeing to the claim.
  • This does not affect the statutory rights of the customer in any way.
  • The warranty is valid only for the purchaser of the battery and is not transferable.
  • The warranty period runs from the date of purchase of the original battery.

This warranty obligation excludes:

  • Failure resulting from wear and tear, misuse and negligence either before or during use.
  • Failure resulting from the use of any fluids other than distilled or deionised water.
  • Use of the battery type on a vehicle for which it is not recommended, or on which it has been installed incorrectly.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Consequential loss
  • Sulphation
  • Wear and tear
  • Over Charging
  • Physical Damage
  • Incorrect application
  • Over discharging - A battery returned between 0.5v and 10v will be unserviceable due to over discharge.
