County Battery Warranty information.
In the event of a battery claim, the battery should be returned as soon as you realise you have a problem, with proof of purchase. Should the battery tests confirm a fault, then the battery will be exchanged free of charge.
- County Battery has the right to test and if necessary, charge the battery before agreeing to the claim.
- This does not affect the statutory rights of the customer in any way.
- The warranty is valid only for the purchaser of the battery and is not transferable.
- The warranty period runs from the date of purchase of the original battery.
This warranty obligation excludes:
- Failure resulting from wear and tear, misuse and negligence either before or during use.
- Failure resulting from the use of any fluids other than distilled or deionised water.
- Use of the battery type on a vehicle for which it is not recommended, or on which it has been installed incorrectly.
This warranty does not cover:
- Consequential loss
- Sulphation
- Wear and tear
- Over Charging
- Physical Damage
- Incorrect application
- Over discharging - A battery returned between 0.5v and 10v will be unserviceable due to over discharge.
